If there is interest in retaining Dr. Ward as a medical consultant, a contract will be mailed or faxed giving an explanation of the nature of the relationship, the fee schedule, and the other related policies. Dr. Ward will do everything possible to accommodate the Client's time needs.
In being an expert witness, my goal is to give an honest opinion about events that have occurred, and to explain concisely and with clarity the neurosurgical standards that apply. Many times patients have unfortunate outcomes due to multiple reasons, and my role is to try and explain why things may have taken place. I have developed an interest in being an expert witness during my years of clinical practice. My experiences of the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders have given me an insight to the medical-legal arena that some of these cases unfortunately appear.
Based in Bend, Oregon Central Oregon, but not limited to any particular geographic location.
